About the Event
The My Brother’s Keeper Oratorical Competition showcases the voices and leadership of young men from area high schools as they deliver original speeches centered on the theme “Moving From Awareness to Action.” Contestants will explore the question “Beyond the Hashtag: What Can We Do to Achieve Equality and Justice?”
Finalists from Columbia, McDuffie, Lincoln, Richmond, Burke, and Jefferson counties will compete for scholarships totaling $3,000 at the Founder’s Day Oratorical Luncheon on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Pointes West Conference Center in Appling, Georgia.
