About the Event
The Greater Columbia County Alphas Education Foundation Golf Tournament is a premier fundraising event dedicated to advancing educational access, leadership development, and academic excellence throughout the Greater Columbia County community.
Proceeds from this tournament directly support the mission of the Greater Columbia County Alphas Education Foundation by funding student scholarships awarded through the annual Oratorical Competition and providing sponsorship support for participation in the Alpha Phi Alpha District Leadership Development Institute. These initiatives are designed to cultivate confident communicators, emerging leaders, and future change agents.
To date, the Foundation has awarded $15,000 in scholarships to 12 student recipients, investing in students who demonstrate academic promise, leadership potential, and a commitment to service. Through the Oratorical Competition, students are challenged to think critically, articulate their ideas with clarity, and engage thoughtfully with issues that impact their communities.
